Guitar Department at the Music Academy in Zagreb is one of the most respected in the world. Zagreb Guitar School attracts young talented students from various countries, who regularly achieve world career. One of them is Petrit Çeku, who arrived to Zagreb from his hometown Prizren while still a minor. After graduating in the class of Prof. Darko Petrinjak, he achieved an enviable international career and mature artistic expression. Despite his busy transcontinental concert schedule, Petrit still occasionally finds the time for a concert in Croatia, his second home after Kosovo, delighting the local audience with new interpretations of works ranging from Baroque, Romanticism, to popular guitar works from Spain. His recitals are truly unique – as a master of technique and expression, Petrit has found something that only the greatest manage to achieve – reconciliation of sense and sensibility.
