The lecture by one of the leading Croatian musicologists of the middle generation, specialized in the research of sacral music in Croatian territories, is focused on new discoveries from the area of early music, especially those from Zadar. In the European context, those sources are invaluable examples of idiosyncrasies within the common corpus of Gregorian and Beneventan repertoires of Latinate Europe.
