Museum Night - Brahms 2 3 GO!
On Museum Night, on Friday, January 28, 2022, the exhibition pavilions of the Zadar National Museum, the Rector's Palace and the City Lodge will be open to visitors from 6 pm to 10 pm.
Zadar has one of the best orchestras in the region, in which great musicians come to play with great zeal and pleasure, not only from Croatia, but also from other parts of Europe. At the Bersa Brothers' Concert Hall, a video recording of the performance of Brahms' Second and Third Symphonies from the Musical Evenings at St Donatus will be played. The orchestra is conducted by its chief conductor Ivan Repušić, "a wonderful Zadar boy with eyes that sparkle and joyfully spin music galaxies, that has grown into today's greatest cultural ambassador of Croatia" (Jutarnji list), while in the role of concertmaster is Roman Simović, first violin of the London Symphony Orchestra.
