Christmas Sounds of the Zadar Circle
We have two Christmas concerts ahead of us! The first is scheduled for Wednesday, December 18th, when the Croatian Choral Music Society Zoranić will perform in the Concert Hall of the Bersa Brothers of the Prince's Palace, which has been organizing a concert called Christmas with Zoranić for decades in the run-up to Christmas. The choir is led by conductor Branka Višić Karavida, and the piano accompaniment is Ivan Štorić. Talented young musicians, students of the Blagoje Bersa Music School gathered in a chamber ensemble prepared by Professor Lidija Ledinić, mentor. They are Mia Grubić, Xin Yi Lin and Ao Okado on violins, Ivan Majstorović on viola, Veronika Višnjić and Šime Šoša on piano and Noa Zara Botunac on guitar. The concert starts at 8 pm.
Next evening, Thursday, December 19th, in the Versatile Hall of the Providur's Palace, starting at 8 pm, the Zadar City Orchestra will hold its Christmas concert in collaboration with the Biograd na Moru City Orchestra. In this evening, which will be filled with music, joy, and holiday spirit, the Zadar City Orchestra will be joined by students from the Arija Music and Performing Arts Studio and Zadar singer-songwriter Myosiq.
